With over 30 years of hospitality experience, Marylouise Fitzgibbon has worked as a General Manager at 5 different hotels, ranging from midscale to luxury, and then as a Regional General Manager, overseeing a portfolio of 10,000+ hotel rooms and 5,000+ employees. She has been personally featured in over a dozen articles about the hotel industry, including USA Today and The New York Times, and was chosen by the American Hotel & Lodging Association as their General Manager of The Year, an award that spans all hotel companies in the United States.
Marylouise holds a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, a Master's Degree in Business, and a Ph.D. in Industrial / Organizational Psychology. She has always been active in the community, teaching at several Universities and serving as an Executive Board Member on many Hotel & Lodging Association groups over her career. She currently works in the field of Hospitality Human Resources, and when not at work, enjoys traveling with her husband and two sets of twins.
